LESSON TITLE:  Controling Thoughts to Control Emotions

LESSON OBJECTIVE:  Gain an understanding of and practice thought control as the key to action and emotional conrol.

MAIN SKILL OR CONCEPT:  Mind control is emotional control.  If you act in a certain way your emotions will follow.   Actions follow thoughts and emotions follow actions.  Think of a train.  The engine is your action.  The coal car is the thoughts that feed your action.  And the caboose is your emotions following along behind.

Share your answer to this question in your Longevity Challenge FB group and ask for comment:  What are some other practical ways and Biblical ways to address the emotional foundation of health in addition to those that Coach Harry Massey suggests in the following Application segment of your course outline?

1) Identify emotional challenges using your NES Health Voice Scan, with an option to purchase a personalized meditation protocol related to your unique results.  Ask Coach Renee about how to do that:  reneelJones@gmail.com.

2) Consider purchase of the MindMaster course at the 60-Day Longevity Store.  This program presents a variety of affirmations or Bible verses at intervals on your computer screen and can be set so fast the impression is completely subliminal.

3) Pick one emotional management habit to focus on every day for the next 60 days.  3) Make note of what happened each day in your journal.

CASE STUDY:  When it came to health, for the first 40 or so years I pretty much led a charmed life.  Or so I thought.

I’d hear people talking about the importance of exercise & eating fruits & vegetables, but aside from consistent jogging it was not a top priority for me.

Growing up on a farm it was beef steak or hamburger every other day.  Tough life.  Definitely a carnivore diet.

Attitude Toward Longevity Before I Woke Up

If I ever got sick I’d just go to the doctor and rely on him to provide the necessary pills or a shot.  I’d pretty much eat whatever I want whenever I want it.

I was athletic as a kid so I tried to start an exercise regimen, but something always seemed to get in the way and finally I just let it go.  I’d get irritated easily, especially by computer issues.

However, as long as I felt reasonably good, I was pretty apathetic regarding my health.  But with age I became aware of certain physical issues.  My stomach would hurt a bit and was sometimes bloated, I’d struggle to stay awake at work and noticed a tendency to forget what I’m doing as I’m in the process of doing it.

Still, I was too busy with work or family matters to worry much about maintaining my health.  I spent a little too much time in front of the TV, but it’s a way to relax after a hard day at work.  I would tire easily and crave sweets.

I looked at pro athletes I admired on TV and get a nagging feeling of guilt that I’m not living up to my potential. I can sense that friends and family think of me in the same way and kind of shake their head with a “tsk, tsk” response.   For some reason I never had to worry much about weight – I could eat whatever I wanted and never gained weight.

But finally, little things started to go haywire with my digestion.  I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.  I didn’t do much about it, and had to have a hemorrhoidectomy.  The operation was a success, so I just kept on with life as usual.

Attitude Toward Longevity After the Wake Up Call

In my mid-forties I met a guy at church who used to be a cop in Los Angeles.  He was the quiet hero type.  Once at his church a crazy guy started opening up on the congregation.  Before too many got hit, Don snuck around the pews and shot him  dead.

But then he got sick with chronic fatigue syndrome.  None of his doctors could tell him what caused it, but it got so bad he had to retire from the police force.  However, by the time I met him he was extremely fit and active, working for a local naturopath, and had a sideline as a wholistic health coach.

I was really impressed and would grill him every day after church.  He described how he’d gone on a quest to recover his health and now owned a piece of medical equipment that could measure energy flowing through his acupuncture meridians and tell him exactly how to solve medical issues.  One day out of the blue  I began to feel light pressure in my chest and slight pain.  So I decided to give Don a try.

A Crisis Avoided

After a testing session, Don said, “You’re deficient in all 4 major minerals, a few trace minerals, and 3 B vitamins critical to your heart: B6, B12, and Niacin.  Because of that bad terrain a specific bacteria has taken up residence in your heart and is causing the pain.

The good news is I’ve identified the specific remedies that will cancel the bacteria.  You need to start supplements right away, start taking the remedies, and follow these other life-style changes.”

I pretty much snapped to attention with a, “yes sir.”  The pain and pressure got a little worse for a while, but gradually began to stabilize and after 6 months completely went away.  By the grace of God, and Don’s expertise, I had dodged the bullet and avoided bypass surgery.  I’m not a medical professional, so I can’t claim that will work for you, but it sure worked for me.

I now have built-in healthy lifestyle habits in the four realms of nutrition, hydration, exercise & rest that help keep my internal organs and organ systems disease free and working properly.  I know because I can tap into the NES Health bio-energetic scan for just $40 any time I need it.

Those chronic illnesses that had plagued me for many years have melted away by application of some of the latest blu-zone longevity technologies: NES Health bio-energetic scan, targeted stem cell repair, genetic repair, or micro-nutrition.  I’ve got good BP, blood sugar, and blood oxygenation.

I feel more energetic and thinking clearly in daily tasks and activities.  This helps me maintain a more positive attitude and esteem toward myself and others.  Energy blocks based on past emotional trauma have cropped up recently as my next health challenge.  I'm saving up for the MiHealth technology for flexibility in both muscles and emotions.  It feels good to have a passing longevity index score on the 100-point scale.

Because I'm healthy for my age, people often comment on how young I look.  Because health is indeed wealth, I’m fortunate to be a wealthy man and bask in the respect that that inspires, even among those with more financial attainment.
