Hi Amy, I apologize for not getting back to you last week. This is the first week of our new semester and everybody is getting used to the new routine. Below is a link to our new documentary on the RAM partnership. There is an illustration near the end that highlights the savngs that may be achieved with the RAM model, typically in the 20-25% range for your staffing expense. This should be a great tool for giving all your staff and student families a quick overview of what it\'s all about. The other great advantage is the world class instructors that we have access to through our nationwide network. This is especially true on the humanities side. Math and science teachers are not too hard to find as a general rule, but mature theologians who understand the Biblical ramifications of the Bible to all of life are a bit harder to come by for things like omnibus, Bible Survey, worldview,Shakespeare, etc. Your first choice in these subjects is usually not a kid fresh out of school. Not all pastors think in terms of a culture-conquering faith either, but we are able to tap into a network of seasoned theologians who understand what is going on in the world and how to address it from a Biblical standpoint. Our instructors are always sensitive to theological distinctives of our students, who come from a broad range of traditions, including reformed, evangelical and Charismatic, but for us a world-conquering faith is not negotiable. Our ability to tap into the network of available instructors was on display back in 2006, when we were approached by an educational research investment pool, comprised of Christian investors. Their research had revealed a sizable group of Christians who want nothing to do with the government schools (including charter), but cannot afford private Christian schools. "Can\'t you do something for us?" was their plaintive cry. The investors were surprised by the size of the segment. The group approached us just before the 4th of July weekend and we were moving forward with an unsigned contract during July to set it up for 1,000 students that they were going to recruit starting August 1 ($1 million budget). On the basis of their strong verbal commitment, we recruited a staff of almost 25 during July and were all set up and ready to roll. Then mysteriously to both them and us their key signatory was completely unavailable during the entire month of July and the whole thing unraveled. It was of course a very frustrating experience, but it demonstrated to us both the need and our ability to "scramble" to meet the need if necessary. The hardest part was going back to those instructors, but for the most part they understood the situation. What I would like to recommend is that after you sit in on some of the classes with our instructors, we set up a time to meet wherein you can interview us in regards to our program and how it could fit your school. It is important that students have a good handle on a Biblical worldview so they can grow in their own commitment to the truth, faith, and God, and so that they can see everything that they are being taught through a prism which enthrones God at the center of all things, including every academic subject. A worldview is based on the Word of God and when students are persuaded that the Bible comprehends all truth, it becomes the foundation or worldview of everything they say, do and learn. As such, we want to make it the foundational chord that interweaves through all the academic subjects. Thus, when a student learns Math for example, they are not simply ingesting mathematical information independent of God but as an interdependent strand whereby all of mathematics is seen as one component of many in helping the student to become more conformed to the image of the Son and to subdue and take dominion of the earth. Practically speaking this means that the student take seriously the mandate in Romans 13 to honor the governing authorities by researching the candidates and issues, making voting a priority, and acting out on the worldview that is being instilled in his or her soul. In Christ, Bracey PS: The class schedules are as follows: Mr Austin Perry\'s Algebra 1/2 class is on Tuesday and Thursday at 2pm PST / 5pm EST. If your aggregate average is 7.0 or above you are probably a good match for the online partnership. There is a strong likelihood that you would be able to realize the potential for increased enrollment, reduced tuition, and higher teacher salaries that are likely to accrue from participation in the program. 2) Set up Intake Interview: The second step is a personal interview with King?s Way leadership for a preliminary assessment of eligibility: 503-776-0017.
